Airtel Payments Bank, a digital finance arm of Bharti Airtel will now be helping Stellapps, one of the leading dairy startups in India, with providing banking services to small dairy farmers across the country. Stellapps offers holistic financial management programs across the dairy value chain, with special programs designed to improve financial inclusion for dairy farmers through its mooPay FinTech Platform. Stellapps has been closely working with dairies and their milk collection centers to enable direct payments to the bank account of the dairy farmers....

Early on Thursday, telecom provider, Bharti Airtel raised accusations against a local internet service provider for repeatedly damaging its network infrastructure. This in some ways impacts the ability of the telco to provide continuous, undisturbed broadband services in areas in and around Gurugram. The FIR has been lodged with the accused having been charged for stealing Bharti Airtel’s underground cables, stated the Police. Bharti Airtel is now offering a new affordable 4G data recharge plan to the users. This plan comes for Rs 119, and it is visible on the website of the telco. The company has launched this plan silently, and users will get 15GB of data with the pack. The validity of this prepaid plan will be the same as the users’ existing unlimited prepaid plan. There is also an additional benefit of ‘Xstream Mobile Pack’ for 30 days offered with the Rs 119 plan....

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is soon going to start rolling out 4G in India. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a Tata Group company, will help out BSNL in launching homegrown 4G. To roll out BSNL’s 4G, TCS and ITI Limited have submitted their bids. ITI Limited will be using TCS equipment only for rolling out BSNL’s 4G, said an ET Telecom report. TCS and BSNL completed the proof-of-concept (PoC) for homegrown 4G by the end of October....
