TDSAT Directs Independent TV to Clear Dues to Antrix The Telecom Disputes Settlements and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) had sent out a direction to Independent TV which told the DTH service provider to pay up to Rs 12 crore to Antrix Corporation for reconnection of signal so that its services could be resumed. As per TDSAT, Independent TV had two options to go for – firstly to pay Rs 5.83 crore and furnish bank guarantees worth Rs 6 crore or secondly to simply furnish guarantees worth Rs 12 crore....

India is gearing up for the launch of 5G networks in the first half of 2022. The telecom operators are already testing their 5G solutions in partnership with global vendors, including Ericsson, Nokia, and Samsung. Indian Smartphone Users Spent 9.8% of Time on WiFi According to the data from Opensignal, Indian smartphone users spent 9.8% of time on WiFi between March 16 to March 22, 2020, registering no increase as compared to the week prior.
