The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) on Tuesday directed the broadcasters to publish the maximum retail prices per month of its channels by August 26, 2020. Vodafone has deployed a 5G core standalone (SA) solution with the help of Ericsson. Vodafone Idea 4G User Additions “Look Good” Says Analyst Motilal Oswal Financial Services, an Indian diversified financial services firm, on Tuesday in a note highlighted that the 4G users in India now account for 78% of the total active users in the country. “Additions of 1.8m for VIL (Vodafone Idea) look good after the fall in the preceding two months, but we will remain watchful to see if it is sustainable,” Motilal Oswal said in its note....

The telco just released its financial reports for the year ending March 31, 2021. Vi has registered a significant drop in average revenue per user (ARPU) in the last quarter of FY21. From an ARPU of Rs 121 in Q3 FY21, the number dipped to Rs 107 in Q4 FY21....

Update - Vi has deleted the concerned tweet, and the development appears to be untrue. Vodafone Idea (Vi) has said that its 5G is now available in the city of Delhi. This can be a surprise to everyone as the telco has not announced this officially to the media or the customers. Vi’s customer care handle on Twitter said that its 5G is currently only available in the city of Delhi....
